What Does Ayahuasca Integration Coaching Really Look Like?

Just finished an ayahuasca ceremony and wondering what’s next? Here’s a real, grounded look at what integration coaching with me actually involves—session by session.

So you’ve had your ayahuasca journey.

You came back with a full heart, maybe some powerful insights… and maybe some confusion, grief, or big emotions too. And now that you’re back home, you might be asking:

“What do I do with all of this?”

That’s the space where integration coaching can really help.

I work with people after their plant medicine experiences—helping them ground, make meaning, and figure out how to let what they learned actually shape their lives.

Integration doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It’s a process. It’s a conversation. It’s a return to your own wisdom, with gentle guidance along the way.

Let me walk you through what our work together might look like.

A Session-by-Session Glimpse into Integration Coaching

Everyone’s journey is different, but many clients choose to work with me for four to six sessions. Here’s a rough outline of how we might move through the process:

Session 1: Grounding and Safety

We begin by checking in with what’s present now. How are you feeling emotionally, physically, spiritually? You don’t have to retell every detail of your ceremony—unless you want to. This is about helping your nervous system settle, and getting you grounded in your body and your life again.

Session 2: Making Meaning

Ayahuasca often speaks in layers—images, messages, energy, memories. Together, we gently unpack the threads of your experience. We might slow things down and explore what keeps resurfacing. You’re not here to "figure it all out"—you’re here to listen to what your own soul is trying to say.

Session 3: Releasing What’s Stuck

A lot can get stirred up post-ceremony—old grief, fear, guilt, or unexpected resistance. That’s not a sign that something went wrong; it’s part of the process. In this session, we might use tools like Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), guided imagery, or hypnosis to help you move through what’s ready to shift.

Session 4: Bringing It Into Your Life

What are you feeling called to change, now that you’ve seen or felt more of yourself? This is the space for setting intentions, creating rituals, and figuring out how to carry the medicine forward. Not as a memory—but as something that’s living in you.

Bonus Sessions (for deeper integration work)

If we continue beyond four sessions, we can go even deeper:

  • Session 5: Daily Practices for Embodiment
Breathwork, journaling, ancestral rituals, or other practices to keep your integration grounded and alive.

  • Session 6: Navigating Real Life With a New Lens
Boundaries, communication, changes in relationships, or next steps in your personal or spiritual path.

Why This Matters

I say this all the time: what happens after the ceremony is just as important as what happens during it.

If you don’t have space to process it all—or if you try to just “go back to normal”—you miss out on the real gifts of the medicine.

This is your chance to slow down, soften, and ask:
What’s trying to grow through me now?
